»Three phrases that sum up Christmas are: Peace on Earth, Goodwill to Men, and Batteries not Included. ~ Unknown

Before anything else, I wanna greet every single soul wandering around my blog, a Merry Christmas! I found a very nice quotes that explains exactly what I thought of Christmas - "I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys. ~Charles Dickens"
So today, I'd be lying if I say that our Christmas eve celebration was fun. Seriously, my Christmas eve was nothing fancy and extraordinary. It felt like just a normal day, except that I planned on what to give to people that matters to me, I received a few Christmas greetings through sms/ facebook/ ym, I received a couple of Christmas gifts and my friend invited me to their house to eat with some new friends. Then that's it. I wouldn't say that this is the worst because even though I didn't have the best Christmas eve, I came to understand the meaning of Christmas spirit. I realized that it is in our hearts. It is not having too many foods, or receiving/expecting gifts and etcetera-- but the spirit of Christmas should start from the heart.
Now I think of the less fortunate children who sings the Christmas carol every night n our subdivision. I noticed that no one seemed to bother about them carolers. I feel sad about them children because it's so unfair for them to be in this generation where everyone is becoming greedy and selfish. I remember my time when I was a child, like about 9 - 12 years old, every Christmas we go caroling on every houses, and we received lots of candies and coins. Because that time, people thought of Christmas was about giving and sharing.
